Unlike the AU it is inspired by this will not be a retelling of The Mask but will instead be a retelling of The Owl House. In this version instead of being lured by Owlbert into the Boiling Isles, Luz finds the mysterious mask of the collector, and when she goes to camp she discovers it's magical abilities.
